Thoughts For Thursday

Today my parents celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary {wow}!  Wishing you guys all the happiness in the world.  

Yesterday evening, I got a pleasant surprise on my doorstep.  I had preordered Cupcakes and Cashmere months ago, and I sort of forgot all about it.  Don't you love when that happens?  Anywho, it is filled with gorgeous images, recipes, fashion tips, entertaining ideas, and much more.  If you follow Emily's blog, then you know all about her and her incredible sense of style.  She is one talented gal, and I am in love with her book!

I can't tell you how close I was to ordering these swim suits today.  I found this baby L Space swim suit on sale, but since the smallest size is a 2T, I figure I'll wait until next summer.  Serious cuteness, right?  I have a thing for matching mommies and daughters!

Is this cake not to die for?  Swoon.  After seeing this cake, I put my order in to the hubs for my next birthday {in November;)}.  He seriously gives the best birthday cakes ever!  Last year's might be hard to top...

I have been eyeing lucite trays for some time now, and I think I'm ready to pull the trigger on one.  I think one would look great on our coffee table.  

On a not-so-happy note, check out the weather we have been having lately.  Rain, rain go away!  Seriously, I am sick of this weather and the forecast isn't looking so great.  Looks like we will be doing some crafting indoors this weekend!  Jamie told me he is going to paint a piece of art for me...what a lovely surprise:)
