More summer to-do list

One thing that I left off of my summer to-do list is a summer playlist.  I gathered a bunch of songs that I am currently listening to and made a summer playlist.  I highly recommend downloading these songs.  Most of them are easy-listening, cross-country songs.  Definitely a cd that you can take to the beach with you or jam at a dinner party.  Enjoy!

  1. Beautiful Day by Charlie Robison
  2. Girl with the Dirty Hair by Adam Carroll
  3. Dread Clampitt by Dread Clampitt
  4. Oh Josephine by The Black Crowes
  5. Okeechobee by Wrinkle Neck Mules
  6. I and Love and You by The Avett Brothers
  7. Blue Bonnets by Cross Canadian Ragweed
  8. Nothin' Better to Do by Charlie Robison
  9. Sunny Daze by Eric Lindell
  10. When the Night Comes by Dan Auerbach
  11. Cigarettes and Wine by Jason Isbell
  12. January Wedding by The Avett Brothers
  13. Broken Bottles by Sons of Bill
  14. Light of Day by Wrinkle Neck Mules
  15. Call Back by Truth & Salvage Company
  16. Picture Perfect Morning by Edie Brickell
  17. No Choice in the Matter by Jason Isbell
  18. Chemical Dependence by Wrinkle Neck Mules
I also need to add to the list the 'P' word.  That's right...potty-training!  My little man has been showing signs that he's ready to begin the process of potty-training.  I know nothing about it.  Gray is a quick learner so I think he will catch on pretty quickly.  At least that's what I'm hoping for {fingers crossed}.   If any of you mothers out there have any advice on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated!

And last, but certainly not least, get my frenchie neutered {take all his man parts}!!  This one is a must.  You know the show "It's Me or the Dog?"  That's how I feel right about now.  He is marking his territory on everything and chewing on anything he can get ahold of.  He is more trouble than my toddler.  Grayson just loves Brees so we kind of have to keep him around.  Plus, he's so darn cute.  Jamie calls him an ornament.  Sorry for the silly blog about my crazy dog...I just had to vent!

Snip, snip

  1. We went through that with Ollie. He is a lot better since the snip! Chris tried to make me feel bad that we were "taking his manhood" but I don't!

  2. Good luck with the potty training. The best advice I can give is don't rush them...its gotta be their idea and on their time! I tried to make Cole potty train last summer and it was a disaster for both of us. But, once he was ready on his own it only took a week :)

Our schnauzer Mac was a completely different dog after his "taking of the manhood"! He never was one to mark his territory, but he was very hyper. Afterwards, he became a lap dog...just as mellow as can be!
