Vintage Party Decor

Vintage party goods are taking over parties these days.  If you follow any party blog, you've probably seen these.  Anything vintage is really in right now, and that includes parties.  Everything from vintage party themes to party decor...you name, it's out there.  I personally love the trend and the sense of nostalgia.

Ready to go back in time?

First up:
Vintage party themes.
Doesn't get much more vintage than this adorable pink and green retro bicycle party.

Here's one for the boys.

Vintage red wagon.  What boy wouldn't like this theme?

The kite party has a very vintage feel and I'm totally in love.  I like the different shades of blue with the white.  Perfect for a spring birthday.

This pinwheel party is precious.  I l.o.v.e. the colors.  Hint: these are the colors I'm using for Gray's party.

Vintage party decor:

::Baker's twine.
Who knew this...
could turn into this?
These favor boxes were featured on Party Perfect.  Too cute!

Sarah from Jack and Izzy sent out these invitations for her son's 3rd birthday party.  What a great idea!

::Paper straws.
These are all over blogland and I can see why.  Let me tell you, they are quite hard to find right now.  I've been looking for green and white ones for the party and they are sold out everywhere!

::Milk bottles.
These are perfect for baby showers and birthday parties.

I love these.  There go those straws again!

::Mason jars.
Mason jars definitely have a vintage look and can be used in lots of ways.

Here they are used to serve food.

Or you can use them to serve drinks.  My hubby likes to serve Margaritas out of these when we have company.  They look even better with the striped straws.

They also look great when used as centerpieces on tables filled with flowers or candles.  Image is from Amorology.

I was feeling a little vintage-y today.  Have a great Monday!

  2. Thanks for the inspiration! I've GOT to find some of those straws for the boys parties! Brady's is in January and I'm trying to decide between a train or construction/tractor theme. Since Noah is a little Valentine, his is going to be a heart-breaker theme. Red, black, white, silver and light blue. If you see anything cute that would coordinate with any of those, send me the link...please, ma'am. :)
