DVF for girls

I'm dying over the new line for Gap by Diane Von Furstenberg that just came out today!

Every little girl's dream.  Now your little one can be a fashionista just like you.

Some of my favorites...
Adorable printed shorts.

It wouldn't be DVF without her signature wrap dress...

They have the cutest shoes, too.  Order quickly because they are going fast!

Let's not forget about the mommies...

Not quite as affordable as her line for Gap, but you can find these gorgeous pieces and many more, here.

Loving coral

Typically, I am a neutral person when it comes to my wardrobe.  White, gray, ivory, black.  These colors are classic and easy to wear.  But lately, I have been loving color.  My favorite color of the moment is coral.  You have probably been seeing it everywhere lately because it's a hot color right now.

Apparently, I like it a lot.  These are photos from my fashion board on Pinterest.

The great thing about color is that you can incorporate it as little or as much as you want.  Shoes, purses, jewelry.  One piece is all you need.  I love that you can pair a pretty ivory blouse with bright red jeans or add a color clutch to a neutral outfit.  It's so versatile.

Perhaps, it's this unseasonably warm weather we've been having lately, but all this color has me ready for Spring!

Baby girl shoes

As you know, little bit just turned 1 a few weeks ago.  She started staking steps a few weeks before her birthday, but now she is all over the place.  Sloan normally would pull her shoes off immediately after I put them on, but now that she is mobile, shoes are a must.  So, being the accessory-lover that I am, shoes are fun to buy...especially cute, tiny, baby ones.

Here are some of my favorite shoes that I am looking at for little Sloan.  And they are so cute, I will take them in my size, too.

Of course she will own a pink pair of Converse...every girl should.
She has these teeny little Sperrys.  Too cute.
I have been eyeing these Hunter's First Wellies for a while now, and apparently I am not the only one because they are on backorder.

Both of these flats are from Baby Gap and she would own them if her feet were big enough.
These sandals are available at Old Navy, and are just perfect for summer.

Let's not forget about baby Toms.  If I had my way, she would have these in every color.

These just might be my favorite at the moment.  Sloan wore these Mary Janes at her birthday party {details coming soon} and they made her whole outfit.  I am in love.  Gracious May has the most precious little shoes for baby girls and boys.  There is not one pair I don't like.

These are just a few of my favorite shoes for baby girl.  Now if she would just keep her headbands and hair clips in her hair!

All That Glitters

It's that time of year when everything is glittery and sparkly.  You can't have too much of it right now.  I know I can't.  Whether you're heading to a holiday party or just hitting the town, you have to add a little sparkle to your outfit.

Glitter nails are all the trend right now.  I recently bought this new OPI color called "Bring on the Bling."  It turned out looking really cute!  You can wear it by itself as I did, or as a pretty topcoat.  Check out their other glitter colors just for this season.

This skinny belt from Jcrew comes in silver or gold, and is the perfect little accessory to add a little glitter to your outfit.
Or dress it up with this Glitterati clutch.
If you are a Toms kind of girl, then these will do the trick.  You can wear these with anything and look cute.

Or if you're heading out for the evening, these are a bit more dressy.
I'm dying over these right now!

Loving this glitter scarf from Tory Burch.  Also from the fabulous Tory is this pretty, shiny bag.  Come on, even Oprah loves this bag.

Need a cocktail dress for all those holiday parties?  I'm loving the embellished top of this dress.  It pairs beautifully with the chiffon and girly bow.

I love the shape and sparkle of these earrings.

Add some edge with this awesome bangle.

I stumbled upon a very similar post {almost the same title even} on one of my fave blogs today after I finished this post.  Great minds think alike perhaps?  You should mosey on over and check out her ideas as well.

Now I'm off to pack for our NY trip!  Leaving bright and early in the morning.  I'll talk to you when we get there!

Crazy for Boots

If there's one fall accessory that's a must-have for me, it's a great pair of boots!  Pregnant or not, boots look great {and they keep your toes warm and toasty}.  If it's even slightly chilly outside, you can bet anything I'm wearing boots.

These days, you don't have to spend a fortune on a good pair of boots.  Even Target has a great selection of boots, which kind of surprised me since it's usually hit-and-miss with me.  So, since I have sort of a "boot fetish" if you will, I put together a selection of fall boots that are fashionable and affordable!

I'm digging these cowboy boots from Old Navy at a whopping $39.50!

These are fabulous suede boots by Naughty Monkey.  You can have these for just $99.

If I could get away with these, I'd totally rock them!  Boots by Sam Edelman.

A great pair of Steve Madden booties for $89!

I'm in the market for a new pair of black boots, and I think these are great.  I love the buckels.  Boots by Aldo for $170.

Riding boots are totally on trend.  Frye makes these polished, sophisticated boots.  These are a splurge at $317.

I heart Fridays and...

Fashion.

Today is all about fashion.  I don't talk much about it, but I really love all things fashion.  I would say that my style is more classic with a trendy twist.  I love classic pieces that are a little more modern.  I admit that I wear a lot of black, white, and gray.  That's just what I'm drawn to.  And that's ok.  It's very classic.  But I love to add trendy accessories, such as pieces of jewelry, shoes, bags, etc.  I l.o.v.e. accessories.  To me, accessories make your outfit.

So, I'm pregnant.  However, that doesn't stop me from wanting to look cute and trendy.  With the trends these days, it's easy to wear non maternity clothes during your pregnancy.  At least for the first several months.

I'm not as big on summer clothes as much as fall and winter clothes.  That doesn't work out so well seeing that I live in Louisiana where it is summer all but about 3 months of the year. Or at least it seems this way.  You can literally wear flip flops in December.  I can't wait for winter.  Boots, coats, scarves, oh my!

Here are a few things I'm loving at the moment...

::Snake skin prints.  This is a always a good fall trend.  I love it because it is so versatile {and yes, it's also neutral in color}.

::Designer maternity jeans.  I love designer jeans, so it's no surprise that I love designer maternity jeans.  They just fit so perfectly, and even make you feel good in them.  And trust me, this is important to a preggers mommy.  With Grayson, I was pregnant mostly during the summer, so I didn't really invest in many pairs of jeans.  I pretty much lived in maxi dresses.  With this baby, I plan on wearing jeans a lot, so I invested in a few really good pairs of jeans that will certainly last throughout my pregnancy.

My favorite are these True Religion boot cut jeans.

These Hudson jeans are such a great fit and perfect for an everyday pair of jeans.

And every woman has to have the perfect pair of skinny jeans...even when you're not quite so skinny.  I just love these J Brand skinny jeans that really are quite slimming.  Perfect with boots, heels, and flats.

::BCBG.  My favorite place to shop is BCBG.  I love the style and quality of their clothes.  Not to mention the shoes and jewelry are always to die for.  You can find a beautiful cocktail dress, a suit for work, or a casual top to wear day or night.  BCBG totally represents my style.  It's probably a good thing there is not one here in my town.  Here are a few of their new fall pieces I love.

Is there a shop you love that totally represents your style?  Please share!
Have a fashionably fabulous weekend!
